Deep pothole on A3 Clanfield

Sent to Hampshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1387566.

There are numerous potholes starting to appear at this section of the A3 at Clanfield. One in particular is deep and dangerous. I hit this one this morning whilst driving and it could cause an accident if not repaired.

  • Daniel from Kier for Highways England called to say the pot holes are being monitored by them and are not deemed to be category 1 just yet.

  • Pot holes are being filled as they occur but the road now appears to be cracking across the lanes and in areas there are growing ridges to these cracks. I think some major works are required to solve this stretch of road.
