No parking room and cars on paths and grass verges

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 23:11, Sun 12 August 2018

Sent to Hull City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1386417.

Parking for the past 5 years on Tedworth Road has been horrific it is made even worse at school times but even without school time on an evening it is terrible for parking with people leaving huge gaps between cars or parking that close to you that you can't get out. My car has been damaged a couple of x people scraping it when they have tried to get out of their parking spaces because someone's parts behind them really close or something. Also because of the parking problems people park on pavements right next to my fence so I can't use my front gate and they park on grass Verges as well. I don't see why the council hasn't turn this street into a one-way system since it is like a horseshoe shape and then turned what is locally known as a dog toilet (the grass verge) into pull-up parking and that way you would fit double the amount of cars in two beers and people could not take the mickey because the parking bays would be set out with paint so they would have to park in them and it would help the flow of traffic down Tedworth Road.

  • Cars down the street are getting damaged due to people cramming in. Childrens safety put at risk at school opening and closing times with people pulling up on curbs, paths and grass verges and people parking across drop curbs.
