Replacement trees

Reported in the Trees category by Michele Challenger at 14:50, Tue 7 August 2018

Sent to Aylesbury Vale District Council 5 minutes later

This is a photo of the small green at Hardy Close HP21 7TB. There were 5 trees originally planted in the style of 5 dots on a dice: 4 cherries and a silver birch. The silver birch in the top right corner and the cherry in the bottom right corner were taken down a few years ago and we were informed at the time that they would be replaced. The cherry in the middle is now none too well and will have to come down soon. What can we do to move along the process of replacing the trees? I understand there is additional funding now available from HS2 that may be used.

  • Brian explained that he is having great difficulty trying to find someone who has authority to solve the issue. He has been going from pillar to post between AVDC and BCC and the response is “Not me I am afraid” He is still working on it and hopes to have moved it forward by next Spring.
