Parking

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1378730.

Parking in Balfour Street. Parking on one side of street. Refuse collectors have left notices once again on cars as unable to collect due to not being able to access road. Particular problem outside 5 Balfour Street. Two particular cars park on the pavement and still cause problems to traffic. I witnessed an ambulance having problems the other evening. A fire engine would have no chance. Have reported before but nothing has changed.

  • You would need to discuss this matter with your local Councillor who has a locality budget and can consider whether a new restriction is appropriate and they can then ask Hertfordshire County Council to promote a new Traffic Regulation Order - you may wish to get support from your local near neighbours.
