The annual problem of the general state of the reboot that runs behind Beech avenue. The privett hedges are significantly overgrown to the point where driving down it causes damage to cars. The general state of the tenfoot is a disgrace and has not been tended to by the council for years.
Reported in the Trees/Hedges Overhanging Roads Or Footpaths category anonymously at 10:21, Tue 17 July 2018
Sent to Hull City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1365420.
The tenfoot has not been cleaned for years, and the privett problem has been reported many times. But the council enforcement team never follow through with their threats to the offenders.

The tefoot is still massively overgrown with privet, also the roadway is in an extremely poor state. There are trees overhanging to the point where it is hardly possible to drive along it. There is also extensive weed growth and regular fly tipping. I would ask when are we going to have gated tendons as other areas have. The council adopted the ten foot but have done nothing to maintain it. Also WHY are the council being shown this reply, they should be held to task for their resposibility. Also the drains in the street are now blocked with Beech leaves and the recent rain almost put us in the position that we were in 2007 when our houses were flooded. Come on hull city council start to look after the people that pay your wages, for once I ask DO YOUR JOBS properly for once. I insist that the council see this report, and that you give me confirmation that this is happening. Paul Jefferson 46 Beech Avenue Garden village HU8 8qj

For us to assist you with this further we require additional information, where specifically are the hedges that are overgrown and the flytips?

In regards to requesting tenfoot gates, this needs to go the area team directly. They have limited amount of funding available. All residents have to agree to having these installed, Hull City council do not maintain the gates, once installed this becomes the responsibility of the residents
