Overgrown trees and Anti Social behaviour

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 16:23, Monday 16 July 2018

Sent to Walsall Borough Council 1 minute later

There are large overgrown trees thus also creating an issue with youths gathering underneath them, smoking, drinking, swearing and littering the area. The trees are now overgrown that much that they are encroaching into the gardens backing on to this area. Youths are also now climbing up said trees and now creating a privacy and security issue for residents. Please get these cut back. The worst affected ones are from the Spread Eagle Pub going up towards the canal.

If it is left to be cut down privately by angry residents then it is most likely that they will be left on the pathway, making it unpassable.

  • Still no resolution,

Neither Wolverhampton Council or Walsall Council want to take responsibility for this land.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Still no action taken. A few weeks ago a fire was lit on part of the grass backing onto Pool Hayes Primary School, luckily it was spotted in time to call the Fire Service and get it under control. Please can somebody start to look after this stretch of greenery?????
