Giant Hogweed growing unchecked on railway land
Reported via Android anonymously at 20:37, Thu 12 July 2018
Sent to Hull City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1362359.
Giant Hogweed is being allowed to grow unchecked along the railway line from Hull Royal towards the stadium and one is right next to Hull Royal Car Park. The highly dangerous plants are in full flower and at least 2 metres tall. Letting Giant Hogweed spread and grow unchecked is an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. This needs dealing with asap and the landowner should be facing serious legal action given employees are passing these towering and dangerous plants on a regular basis.
