Whilst driving down Millards Hill into Welton/Midsomer Norton, I had the misfortune to strike one of the mile or carter stones that sit alongside this thoroughfare at intervals as you go down the hill. I only hit it because it wasn’t and isn’t visible from the road because it is obscured by overgrown grasses and shrubs.
