Overflowing public bin in Canal Apartments estate

The bin on the green space neighbouring the canal towpath (access via Canal View) of the Canal Basin apartments has been overflowing for two weeks now. I am constantly reporting this bin as I walk past it all the time. Please can the Streetpride team take pride in coming to empty the bin and clear away the rubbish on top, at the sides, behind, all near it. Sorry to sound so obvious but someone in the team clearly has a wonderful sense of humour and often empties the bin but leaves all the rubbish directly around the bin (which has fallen out or someone has failed to fit in the bin) after emptying the bin. It's hilarious. Not. Perhaps the Council could install some more bins around this estate and even put some big public recycling bins (like we used to have) on the estate or even in Leicester Row car park - I am sure they will get used. We need to do everything we can to take responsibility and pay attention to the fact that all these materials going to landfill which could easily be recycled are contributing to climate change. Please can the Council take this seriously and not make it so easy for people to litter!
