Young people at skate park

We’ve used the skate park in Charlton park many times and love it. We go about 4pm. The last few times we’ve been there, there have been a group of young people who are playing music with offensive lyrics (I don’t mind music but I do mind swear words belting out). They’ve been smoking and this week they were very rude to my son for being on the skate park. My son uses a two wheeled scooter and is within the age limit. He’s also very confident on the scooter so he’s not causing an issue. So he has every right to be on the skate park. It’s very difficult as a Mum to see your son being shouted at and he was told to leave, I don’t feel i can confront them as there are so many of them. I genuinely don’t mind them being there, but is there something we can do about the music and the way they think they own the skate park. They take up all the benches and basically we had to leave on Tuesday early because they’d made us feel so uncomfortable. I don’t really know what can be done. But there has to be a way that everyone can use the park together.
