No signing on works in highway
Reported in the Road works problem category anonymously at 06:33, Tue 3 July 2018
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1354458.
Work has been ongoing for new utilities down the haul road for a few weeks, and has now reached Tuthill Furlong. Yesterday (2nd July) the excavation was extended into Tuthill Furlong, but without any signing at all, either at the works or on the approach roads. With parked cars, this is quite congested and hazardous. Not sure whether the NRSWA applies to unadopted highways, but I think that it does....

These roadworks have not been attended over the past couple of days and due to cars going over the metal plates (covering the hole across the road) these have now seperated causing a gap that is increasing in size. Whilst cars may be ok passing over it motorbikes and cyclists could easily fall down the gap, particularly with poor light at night time. The barriers are also causing problems as are not wide enough to let larger cars pass by without hitting them, these are now being knocked and going wonky
