Overgrown vegitation on left hand side of entrance to Blackgate Lane

Hedge needs cutting back on lefty hand bside of Blackgate Lane as starting to cause danger to traffic swinging on to oncoming lane to avoid shrubbery.

  • Turning in to Blackgate lane northbound from the A29 the hedge on the left hand side has encroached into the carriageway forcing drivers to swing over to the oncoming side of the road. This presents a very dangerous situation when there is oncoming traffic in Blackgate lane. If one has to pull in to avoid oncoming traffic serious damage can happen to one's own vehicle. This was first reported in June 2018 and to date nothing has been done to address the problem
