The roads on this estate were resurfaced 9th,10th, 11th June. There are still loose chippings all over the streets, even though they have been cleaned. On some streets, such as Fane Road and Nicholas Avenue, there are piles of chippings in the middle of the road. This is extremely dangerous for cyclists (I have skidded twice on the chippings in the last couple of days). It is also extremely noisy as it sounds like the cars are driving on gravel (this wakes me up in the night). Also, on one of the occasions when the loose chippings were being cleaned, cleaning started at 5.45am! This is an extremely noisy operation and it is far too early to undertake such work in a quiet residential area such as this.
