The yellow lines have been painted over an existing parking place

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 19:16, Monday 18 June 2018 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 12 hours, 39 minutes later. Council ref: 863461.

The yellow lines have been repainted on Argyle Street. There is an old and defunct yellow line that has mistakenly been painted and as a result the street has one less parking space. This was a legitimate parking place (we have disputed a parking ticket issued when our car was parked in it and won the case).

Parking on this road is incredibly hard and to lose a space in not right. Please can you rectify the situation by removing the yellow lines that are in the wrong place.
