Derilict trailer on road

Reported in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 10:25, Sat 16 June 2018

Not reported to council

Trailer ( in poor condition) is randomly left on road for long periods of time, despite having an empty drive with no vehicles parked on it, owner doesn't even own a car with a tow bar.

There is no real pattern to when it is in/out, it does however take up a valuable parking space on the road.

To the best of my knowledge it is against council guidelines and / or the law to leave a trailer on the road unless it is attached to a licensed, taxed and MOTed vehicle. This trailer does not have proper reflectors on the tow hitch side and therefore is a hazard.

Owner has had multiple statutory removal notices attached over the years, but has chosen to ignore them. Putting these notices on in the past has a short to mid term positive affect. Can another please be put on.?

  • Trailer still out and has been the majority of the week, causing parking issues.
