  • I heard from the Council shortly after submitting the complaint to Fix My Street stating it would take 5 working days for a reply, I didn't receive any further communication from them. The council have done some patch up repairs to the speed humps using cement/concrete harder in-fills to some of the damaged areas but they have not done anything about the protruding bolts which are still there.

  • As already stated there was a patch up repair done to some of the speed humps but the bolts continue to protrude It doesn't appear that the council intend to do anything further with them. It was beneficial to be able to post the original notification which was passed onto the council bringing it to their attention. I do think if they install ways of slowing the traffic down ( which I have no problem with and agree needed to be added to that particular stretch of road ) they should at least maintain it regularly or consider a more robust material to use especially considering the quantity of heavy traffic in that area including refuse trucks which collect from the Industrial Estate & Business Park & park up by Sainsbury's .on a regular basis.
