Food/garden waste collection lorry repeatedly discharging food oil waste sediment onto street

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 14:10, Thu 14 June 2018

Sent to Chiltern District Council 4 minutes later

For two months, the food / green waste collection lorry has been leaking food oil onto roads in Chalfont St Peter and bordering Gerrards Cross. The stench from the remaining food waste oil sediment is over powering, the sediment does not come from one or two leaked foods bins but rather, seems to be leaking from the actual lorry. This is a serious environmental health issue. Please note, this is not the fault of the refuge collection staff; they are indeed emptying the bins correctly into the lorry and the lorry is the leaking food oil along entire roads. This issue was reported previously but nothing has been done. The food remnants / slime / oil is toxic and will of course contain dangerous bacteria such as ecoli. This is a serious environmental health issue that needs to be urgently addressed. Cats : dogs : people can unknowingly walk through this food waste sediment into houses.
