Tree owned by BANES at junction with Fairfield Park Rd is sprouting from base of trunk an completely obstructing narrow pavement.

Reported in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 10:41, Tue 12 June 2018 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1337439.

This tree is usually trimmed by BANES but has not been done recently. The owner of the house adjoining the tree has recently moved, so it may not have been reported. There is no pavement on the other side of the road so pedestrians have to walk on the road to get round these sprouting shoots. Thanks.

  • I note that almost a month ago the tree on the corner of Charlcombe Way was reported as it was causing an obstruction, this is still the case! It is situated where vehicles enter this one way road with a pavement only on one side. This is DANGEROUS as it is completely blocking the pavement meaning the only option is to walk in the road- This is totally unacceptable and I request an immediate investigation into this hazard
