Obstructed right of way

Reported in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 17:47, Sat 9 June 2018

Sent to Norfolk County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1335146.

Right of way obstructed. Signs and path markings are unreadable. Shocking the council have left it ignored for years like this.

Use exact locations: Footpath to and from Snape Lane / Nursery Close.

Say how long the issue’s been present: Over 3 years.

Solution. Remove the overgrowth COMPLETELY until the boundary fence is exposed. Give pedestrians 100% of their footpath back. Don't waste tax money "trimming" the overgrowth.

Updates

  • 4 foot of weed overgrowth topped up with residents garden waste being dumped. The weeds are growing into trees due to the lack of action by the council.

I have witnessed wheelchair users being scratched in the face by the newly "trimmed" overgrowth as they navigate the entrances at both ends.

Remove these weeds, do not trim and maintain them (a waste of money). REMOVE THEM completely, problem solved.
