Footpath blocked by overgrown hedge at #21 Elizabeth Avenue

Reported in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 17:28, Sat 9 June 2018

Sent to Norfolk County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1335137.

Use exact locations: #21 Elizabeth Avenue

Say how long the issue’s been present: Over a year. Photo is from last year and nothing has been done since. It's gotten worse. Pedestrians walk on the street to get around the blocking hedge. Photo is from last year. It has not been cut since. With cars parking beside the blockage pedestrians walk in the middle of the road into coming traffic.

Solution: Cut the hedge BACK TO THE FENCE! Expose the fence, don't just lazily trim it.

Updates

  • Note between dustbins and cars parking beside the already blocked right of way, people regularly have to risk walking into oncoming traffic to avoid the blockage to the right of way.

  • Nothing done by Kings Lynn County Counil or Downham Council.

    Utterly Useless.
