Overgrown trees and brambles

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 09:03, Wed 6 June 2018

Sent to Halton Borough Council 1 minute later

The trees and shrubs are very overgrown and catch on passing vehicles. People walking along the pavement have to duck to avoid being caught on low hanging branches. There is quite a lot of dead wood in the trees which needs removing before it falls on somebody or a vehicle.

Updates

  • The council contacted me to say it's not their land and that they will contact the owner. I hope the owner is insured for when one or more dead branches fall on somebody.

  • The council contacted me to say it's not council land but they will contact the owner. This is still outstanding. Really- HBC, it's not that difficult to trace the owner of a piece of land that is registered with the Land Registry, as I know this piece of land is, and it's not difficult to write to them.
