Street light needs device to shield out some of the light

Sent to Bromley Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1331052.
Street lighting floods onto property over 40 feet from the highway, into bedrooms etc. Street light W186 on west side of Wickham Road colocated with Chancery Road bus stop near #34 Wickham Rd. Also the lamp post needs a lick of paint

Some photos to illustrate the way street lighting can flood unfettered into the house, from first and second floor windows. The light flow is effectively horizontal, rather than "down lighting" that a street lamp should be providing

I can confirm we have fitted a shield to the lamp column in question.

Please clarify - there appears to be no shield or change to the light pollution.
Perhaps you meant a shield will be fitted in due course, which would be welcome. If so, an idea of timescales would be very helpful.

I can confirm that a shield was fitted to lamp column W-18-6 on 11.06.2018. Could you please confirm lamp column number that you are questioning? Many Thanks.

The lamp post is W18 6. I can see some black stuff has been used inside the lamp, unfortunately not in the right place to make the required difference. Two of the attached photos illustrate the light pollution at night. Another shows the shield/black stuff, which should have been applied to the other side of the lens. Another is a shot of the light from a bedroom window
