There a a number of potholes at this junction with the traffic lights as you turn left to go towards the Recycling centre at Charlton. These holes have been there for months and now there ar3 a number that have almost joined together as the volume of traffic churns up the tarmac. This is damaging car tyres and really needs sorting . This junction is only going to get much worse if just ignored by Highways and will be a much bigger repair job if left for too much longer . It’s way past time the road surface was repaired, it’s likedriving on a dirt track and quite honestly isn’t good enough. I have to have my car MOT’d every year to make sure it’s roadworthy, yet the roads are anything but car worthy in certain areas .
Surrey Highways say the road surface isn’t bad enough to “Intervene” I’m sorry but this isn’t some back street or side road it’s an A road. They should have priority when it comes to repairs. It’s this crazy attitude of none intervention until it’s very deep that’s lead to the state of Surrey’s Roads .
