Deep flood water right across carriageway

Reported anonymously at 15:46, Sunday 3 June 2018

Sent to Norfolk County Council and South Norfolk District Council 4 minutes later

This happened on the night of 2 June when there must have been heavy rain at some previous point. By time of discovery it was foggy and wet but not actually raining. As visitors to the area, struggling in the fog to find route, and coming off the A11 and heading towards Mulbarton on B 1135 only to find very deep water in a dip before the rise to the roundabout. Avoided a full blown accident but the vehicle suffered damage underneath and breakdown rescue needed. Acknowledge that it was a temporary flood (probably) but it felt like a place that can frequently do so, and warning notices of the possibility would be good for non-locals, and hopefully improved drainage?
