Lights out on Chaucer Road

Resident reports that all lights in Greenway court, end of Chaucer Road nr 41 & 42 and top end of Devonshire buildings are still not working. They have not worked since cabling was done in the area for Virgin Media. Please investigate and repair as a priority as they have been out for some time. FEEDBACK

  • There is a cable fault affecting 4 lights at in chaucer rd / devonshire buildings. It maybe that the lights in Greenway Court are affected by this also. An order is to be raised for the repair of the underground cable.

  • Banes contractors have inspected this further and Western Power may need to provide a new supply to light number 5 Devonshire Buildings, whcih will supply the rest of the lights. This is yet to be confirmed with Western Power and further updates will be provided in due course.

  • Our contractors, SSE are still investigating the possibility of providing a new supply to the lights. Once this is investigation complete we shall send a request to Western Power for any work that is required.
