Reported in the Car parking category by Alan Hunt at 10:27, Saturday 26 May 2018

Sent to Birmingham City Council 3 minutes later

This problem is at its worst every Friday between 12.00 and 14.00 with people illegally parking to attend the local mosque. But also daily with people attending Beechcroft Tennis Club which is located in the Avenue. It's only a matter of time before someone has an accident as a result of this selfish parking.

Updates

  • The council showed no interest in the problem caused to the people living in the Avenue, quoting that it's not illegal to park on the pavement? But driving on a pavement is illegal, which poses the question how do the cars get into the parking position on the pavement if they are not legally allowed to drive over it. I was referred to the local Hall Green Police team who were initially interested by the photos I forwarded to them, but to date have received no follow up. Selfish drivers are still parking fully on the pavement making it dangerous for pedestrians. Some of who are in their 80s.
