Windmill Hill Ave. East - Damaged Railings -3rd Time

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Roy Halsall at 17:21, Fri 25 May 2018

Sent to Halton Borough Council 3 minutes later

For a third time the safety railings at Windmill Hill Avenue East have been demolished . Why?? because cars continually speed up the hill and as its quite a sharp bend it takes drivers by surprise. These railings have only recently been repaired after being severely damaged several months ago. The police were obviously called as looking at the photos, the car involved with the accident has overturned, also police barrier tape was erected around the damaged railings until this morning ( Friday 25th May ) How can this problem be solved? Easy! speed bumps need to be set in the road way in both directions and the Speed camera which is currently sited a few hundred yards from the railings needs to be repositioned at the railings
