Bollards

Reported via Android in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 20:38, Wed 23 May 2018

Sent to Hampshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1320467.

Photo 1. Near Petersfield railway station there are a number of pavement bollards.Their purpose seems to be to mark the road crossing area Photo 2. The bollard at this location was knocked over many months ago and after a lengthy interval, during which time the temporary repair was a huge trip hazard, the area was repaired with tarmac and not with matching paving slabs. Why not paving slabs? And why not replace the bollard? Photo3. It appears that the missing bollard was dumped in the long grass under a nearby advert hoarding and has been revealed now that the grass has been cut. The council should now replace the bollard and use paving slabs.
