3 foot by 1 foot pothole on left side of road heading out of Gumley. Road narrows here so hard to avoid.

The pothole has been here since Jan 2018, maybe longer. It is getting larger and is full of aggregate and rocks. Probable cause is that the road is crumbling away as there is a steep hillside next to it. Car wheel went down the pothole (21.05.2018) as the road narrowes and met oncoming traffic. My alloy is badly scratched and need a new tyre now.
