Large trench pothole

Reported via iOS in the Potholes category by Andrew Stevens at 09:33, Wednesday 16 May 2018

Sent to West Sussex County Council 2 minutes later

A large trench pothole has developed since the works on the bridge, its grown and has deep sections.

It needs immediate attention as the worst pothole on the road, stretches across the majority of the lane as the lanes merge following a dedicated lane turning left at the roundabout from Horley merges.

Due to its breadth and depth it not only is in danger of causing severe damage to vehicles but potentially a loss of control and major accident.

Please deal with this as a matter of the upmost urgency.

A lot of this road requires attention, there are various potholes along it round the Airport and to Gatwick, most of these are the middle of the two lanes.

  • Trench pothole has been filled, thank you.

Hopefully the remainder of road from the roundabout around the airport and into Crawley with quite a number of small potholes, inbetween the lanes that need filling will also get looked at.

    State changed to: Fixed
