Trees and shrubs hacked down unprofessionally and litter dumped over wasteland

Reported via Android in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 08:27, Monday 14 May 2018

Sent to North Tyneside Borough Council 3 minutes later

The trees, shrubs at the back of staithes avenue were hacked down (badly) last Thursday afternoon. The land has bot been cleared and shrubs/bushes/trees not removed and cleared properly. Hacking down all the trees has unearthed a detritus of rubbish that has been dumped there over the years and also not been removed. The area used to provide privacy for all the residents that live on staithes avenue as well as habitats for wildlife. This has been destroyed and just left by the contractors who were employed to rip all the greenery out. The area has been ruined, is an eyesore and needs to be tidied. Absolutely disgusting that the council has allowed this to happen.
