Wrong Speed Limit signs for SOUTHBOUND traffic by Angmering/Lloyds Medical Centre.

Reported in the Road traffic signs category by Aidan Thorne at 19:22, Thursday 10 May 2018

Sent to West Sussex County Council 3 minutes later

As you come SOUTH out of the Village the road signs indicate a 30mph speed limit. These are the old signs. The speed limit on that section of road is 20mph. The signs need to be changed. The 30mph limit does not start until just before Mill Road. Please get a grip. No wonder motorists are confused. Repeat: the signs for South bound traffic by the medical centre (North Drive) should show 20 not 30mph.

Updates

  • Speed cushion North bound Station Road, opposite lamp-post 27, just before junction with North Drive, is being circumvented by cars mounting the grass verge. Traffic heading from the A259 towards Angmering Village centre are routinely serving to their left avoiding the speed hump and wearing away the grass verge. • Yes, the signage was corrected.

    State changed to: Fixed
