Traffic light filter

Reported via Android in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 16:25, Thursday 10 May 2018

Sent to North Tyneside Borough Council 5 minutes later

This junction is often backed up with traffic, especially during busy hours. It backs up farther back than the zebra crossing, making it a blind spot and a potential hazard. Cars waiting to turn right at the junction get stuck in the middle when the lights turn red, obstructing the traffic flow, blocking crossings and regularly cutting through the red light after the green man is lit in an attempt to clear the way. This traffic light is in desperate need of a right turn filter. These crossings are used by a lot of school children from Marden Bridge.
