Highway reinstatement has sunk resulting in large depression in the road

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Bill Craven at 10:26, Wednesday 9 May 2018

Sent to North Yorkshire County Council 4 minutes later

9-5-18:-The adjacent house builders connected into drains in the road - and nearly killed somebody in the process when the trench collapsed. They backfilled the excavation incorrectly, and this has now settled significantly leaving a depression in the road which is likely to cause damage to vehicles that drop into it and potentially injury to cyclists who are unaware of it until too late.
