Ref park avenue total length

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Richard Lowe at 08:26, Wednesday 25 April 2018

Sent to Sefton Borough Council 3 minutes later

Given the regretable extensive traffic flow including domestic and very heavy commercial traffic both ways on Park Ave the whole top surface is going creating in my opinion a danger to car users re potholes and standing water .We have been promised a new surface but the modern method of a tarmac skim will last about 3 months the council have to bite the bullet and prepare the road with decent depth of repair .The commercials are a major problem as seen at both ends where they turn etc

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • We are now in June and major road repairs on Park Ave have started at the Park end including resurface and amendments to the pavements on Rawlinson Road .However would say 60% of Park Ave to the other end Junction with Roe Lane remains untouched and deteriorating very rapidly re again the heavy commercial traffic turning into Roe Lane . Why has the whole stretch of Park Ave not been attended to given it is now designated by signs as the major route to Norwood Road and the industrial estates ? Still no inspection ?

  • We are now at the mid /July as yet no updates or believe promised an inspection end of May that would be reported back .However still very poor road surface now causing house shudder with the 40 ft commercial vehicles turn into Roe Lane
