We just move to on Swains Lane few weeks ago where is on-street parking. I'm dropping my son to school every morning and when Im coming back there is no place to park so I park on other site of the road where there is no yellow line. Neigbours start to pay attention on me that Im cuses the traffic. How we can resolve problem with parking for everyone happy. Regards
It’s not ideal if people park on both sides of Swains Lane to be sure, and I am the first to agree that it causes delays if people do, BUT in the absence of single or double yellow lines, it is perfectly legal to do so, and moreover to do so WITHOUT parking on the pavement, which inconveniences pedestrians and creates difficulties for mothers with buggies, people with mobility issues, etc.
