Sunken drain cover

Sunken drain adjacent to the pedestrian crossing, this drain was not attended to when the road was resurfaced and has recently been filled/covered with tarmac, this tarmac has now come loss and is littered across the road causing further hazard to driving in addition to the original sunken drain

  • This drain cover has again been filled with tarmac, tarmac sitting on a metal drain cover will not adhere and the tarmac will break up over time. What happens if the drain cover needs to be lifted !!!!!!!!
