Unsafe and hazardous paving

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by Patricia Johnson at 13:57, Sunday 15 April 2018

Sent to North Tyneside Borough Council 2 minutes later

Paving is unsafe and hazardous outside the driveway of No6 Lorton Avenue. Paving is moving and has created gaps large enough to trap adult feet. Other paving rocks badly when walked over and creates trip hazard. Needs bedding securely to prevent further movement. Was repaired in 2016 but continued to move.

Updates

  • Workmen came and moved one slab which after two days moved back to where it was. Total waste of time and energy. Didn’t touch the wobbly slab at all. Guess someone will have to trip, fall and sue for them to undertake a satisfactory repair!!!!!! Very worrying in a street of pensioners. Won’t bother reporting any more.
