Footpath running along Eastern edge of rectory park presents trip hazard

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by Nick Walker at 09:00, Sunday 15 April 2018

Sent to Ealing Borough Council 5 minutes later

After building works on Rectory Park (next to Ruislip Road and Rectory Park Avenue) in February trench across the footpath was incompletely filled in with an uneven surface and bricks jutting up. This presents a trip hazard to local people using the path to cross the park but also is on the route of the local park run so is dangerous for runners too.

Updates

  • Some kind of repair has been attempted on the footpath but it is only to a low standard and certainly won't withstand any rain. It looks like a temporary job - the surface isn't to the standard of rest of the path and still poses a trip hazard. Please can this be fixed properly?

  • A second repair has been made and it's much better. The path is ok.

    State changed to: Fixed
