Lots of large deep pot holes along whole road

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 19:30, Sat 14 April 2018

Sent to Leicester City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1281907.

There are lots of really bad pot holes along the length on Heatherbrook rd and the entrance to Barnsdale rd. There are lots of loose stones which are flicking up and damaging cars as well as making breaking dangerous. I had to break suddenly when a child ran into the road and my car skidded almost hitting a parked car, despite only doing 20mph. It’s also not good when it’s raining. I often drive on the wrong side of the road or swerve between the pot holes to avoid them, which is dangerous but I don’t feel I have a choice. These pot holes have been repeatedly filled in but are back within weeks. It’s time this whole road is resurfaced! They pretty much cover the length of Heatherbrook and are also getting bad at the entrance of Barnsdale rd. this issue has been ongoing for several years but it is the worst it’s ever been right now

  • Just one hole fixed? Why? The state of the road is awful. What is my road tax being spent on???? It’s like driving kamikaze to get anywhere.
