Large 125mm deep Pothole

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 08:56, Thursday 12 April 2018

Sent to Suffolk County Council 5 minutes later

On New Road, Ilketshall St John, close to the junction with Rectory Lane and Castle Road there is a large pothole approximately 1.2m x 0.6m x 125mm deep. It has been there for a few months and is gradually getting larger. It often fills with water and is then not visible to motorists. It is adjacent to areas of previous patch repairs, some of which are also starting to fail. This section of road is often covered with water and if the drainage was improved then the carriageway repairs would last longer.
