Hedge overgrowing and encroaching on pavement

Reported anonymously at 17:36, Wed 11 April 2018

Sent to Harborough District Council and Leicestershire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1278471.

This hedge leans towards the pavement causing three problems. The pavement is narrowed so, for instance, a child has to walk behind or in front of a parent, and mobility scooters have to take to the road. Secondly, turning out of Rosebery Avenue is completely 'blind'. There is a bend on Fleckney Road at this point. It is impossible to see traffic approaching from the right, and vice-versa. Thirdly, the dropped pavements either side of Rosebery Avenue cannot be seen by vehicles on Fleckney Road. Anyone attempting to cross atthis location cannot be seen by vehicles intending to turn into Rosebery Avenue from the Fleckney direction. The hedge needs to be cut back to the boundary.
