  • LA plans to put up metal trees in city centre (?) with no environmental value while neglecting replacing the healthy natural one they cut down here. No wonder the world is on a helter-skelter ride to destruction.

  • Nothing done by LA to correct such evasion of necessary responsibility to local natural environment

  • Despite meetings having been held with the LA nothing has been done. INFERING IT AS ECO FRIENDLY ACTION THE LA ARE SUPPORTING THE BUILDING OF METAL SCUKPTURAL TREES IN THE CITY WHILE FAILING TO MANAGE NATURAL ONES AND TO REPLACE THEM AS NEEDED IN THE RESIDENTIAL AREAS. WHAT A JOKE.

  • The LA policy continues to be to only cut trees down in the residential streets where it deems appropriate; even when they are healthy ones. request for abetter policy ignored and local cllr budgets spent on other things even outside the ward.

  • Nothing done here while metal trees are being put up elsewhere in city to replace grubbed out vegetation in response to the actions of a so called eco warrior and his gang. What a laugh. They get this done in a few months and we get nothing done after asking for a number of years for action. What sort of council is this?

  • No LA action to address the situation outlined. They prefer to support the building of metal trees in the city centre to properly managing and in places replacing natural trees; in particular in the suburban areas while still removing some natural trees in the city itself. Clearly for this LA it is not all about saving the planet by better managing natural environment.

  • Not one tree has been planted as a replacement in these avenues; including for the removal of several actually healthy ones. this LA prefers to support the installation of metal tree models in parts of the inner city. Not the best way to help secure bio-diversity; although some odd characters have been claiming value to the contrary?

A council that remains without effective policy regarding resolution of this need.
