Unacceptable amounts of rubbish on both sides of the embankment of the bridge over the railway as you head from Tesco Roundabout towards Croydon, along Croydon Road

Sent to Bromley Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1275274.
I understand that some of the land that runs down the embankments from the pavements on both sides of the road / pavement as you cross the railway bridge from Tesco Elmers End heading towards Croydon (on Croydon Rd) belongs to Bromley Council, There is plenty of rubbish, especially on the piece of land between the road and Tesco (Tesco have told me that it is not their land)

Council investigations into land ownership and responsibilities have identified that the slope was included in the original planning application for the superstore and classified as being within their ownership.
The Store Manager has been contacted today to advise that Tesco Management need to make any necessary arrangements to tidy this land and to help reduce the impact of litter generated by the store.
