Byway crossing with A 47 road hardly visible!

Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 16:52, Saturday 7 April 2018

Sent to Norfolk County Council 3 minutes later

Where Honingham RB 1 crosses the A 47 Trunk Road. Signage for this crossing is hardly visible. This is grossly unacceptable in 2018. The A 47 road is one of the county's busiest traffic corridors, with considerable volumes of fast moving traffic. The wooden signpost is hardly visible from the A 47. Signposts for the byway need to be constructed of metal, retroreflective materials, of traffic-grade specification. There also need to be advance warning signs, aimed at users of the A 47 road, to warn them of the potential presence of vulnerable pedestrians, horse-riders and users of non-motorised vehicles, crossing the A 47 road along the public byway.
