Another road sign brought down on the A272.

I noticed this damaged sign at the same time that I reported this one:

... but did not have an accurate fix on it at the time. Today, I do:

A272, Alton GU34 3PD, UK (+/- 6.89 ft) 26/03/2018, 08:24 BST Lat. 51.027619 (51°01.6571′N) Long. -1.029481 (1°01.7689′W) https://goo.gl/ oLUcDc (Google Maps).

The sign has been flattened against the grass verge, presumably a car failed to make the turn and ploughed straight in to it.

There has been a spate on damaged road signs in this area (I have now reported 3), hopefully this isn't an indication of the A272 being used as a race-track.
