Uneven surface in lane three, M23 northbound

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 11:33, Thu 22 March 2018

Sent to West Sussex County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1254151.

Following resurfacing work some months ago (if I recall correctly it included laying new induction loops into the carriageway), a two distinct 'ramps' have been left in the road surface. The artifacts appear to be 'joins' between sections of new tarmac which were not finished adequately. The second 'ramp', closest to J10 is severe enough to cause a distinct 'lift' when crossing at 70mph and represents a real hazard to the emergency services who may be travelling much faster.
