Temporary fencing erected 3 years ago

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 18:42, Tue 20 March 2018

Sent to Halton Borough Council 3 minutes later

Temporary fencing was erected 3 years ago for construction of the Mersey gateway road access. The field which was used by children to play on (had goal posts) was then no longer available . In addition, access to the canal was also no longer available . The area is now like a trench. The council say they are not responsible and Mersey gateway say they are not responsible . I would like to know who is responsible for reinstating the field /access and when this will be completed as the Mersey gateway has been open for several months

  • I would also like to ask about the temporary fencing along the canal in the direction towards castlefields. As a result of the fencing the only option to walk along the canal is using the tow path which is very muddy . The fencing is also unsightly
