New perdestrian crossing, an accident waiting to happen

Reported in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 15:15, Sat 17 March 2018

Sent to Norfolk County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1248798.

The new crossing in Dersingham is not safe, pedestrians are only given four seconds to cross before the lights change I only got half way and I'm young, there are no push button control to stop traffic on either chapel road and station road, which put people at risk. With the safety islands being removed no where to stand as the traffic drives by at speed. the recreation ground is near by, children going to the chip shop are in danger from cars coming off Hunstanton road and Chapel road as they think the lights have stopped the traffic and they haven't please do something to put this right thank you
