Tree dropping ping pong ball sized hard apples which cause damage to cars and slip hazard on pavement

Reported in the Public Tree related issue category by Lucy Byford at 21:44, Friday 16 March 2018 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council 1 minute later

There is a tree outside number 39 and 37 which in the summer grows small round apples (or something) which drop everywhere (hundreds of them) and dent cars below and cause a hugh slip and falling hazard to young people and the elderly. It been going on since I've lived on this road. Last summer it caused a chip in my windscreen and then a small dent on the roof of my car. I also know that over 4 people have had a injury from them. Last summer one of the apples dropped into my friends childs pram. Very unsafe. Please can you remove this tree before this spring/summer so the same problem doesn't happen. I cannot attach a photo as it isn't summer yet and they haven't grown.
